taken down again because i was very very very very angry. not so angry anymore.

so the craft fair went very well indeed. i ended up making $35, and since most of my supplies were given to me and the table was free for students, it was a very nice profit indeed. definitely made me feel good. i also got a *ton* of compliments. yay for me :-)

in other news,work was cancelled last night due to rain. which was good, because i would have called off anyways. the place would have been just covered in mud and i'm not about to run around in that. a friend of mine said that she would have covered herself in the mud, lay down and jump up at people. i'm *way* too girly for that! lol.

got some lovely candles on clearance from wal*mart. once smells of pink lemonade and the other of pink grapefruit. mmmm, fruity! lol. i also got a bunch of styrafoam (sp?) balls and tissue paper and have made little ghosties and pumpkins for the "holiday" tree in the apartment. i've been wanting to do that for a looong time and am really happy with it! i feel very accomplished indeed. :-)

that's all for now. i've got homework to do!

so i've got my first craft fair today. i'll be selling stretchy bracelets, nicer necklaces, earrings, pendants, velvet bags, dream catchers, and wands. who knows if i'll actually sell anything, but since most of my supplies were gifts, just about any money is good money. i'm a bit nervous but still very excited. anyone out there reading this, send some good energy my way!

on another note, life has been so hectic lately. it seems to have been just one long string of papers and tests to study for and do. on the good note, i have my midterm grades:
intro to PR: A
interpersonnal comm: C
psych of comm: A
intercultural comm: B
intro to mass media: A

i'm very happy with them, although i'd like to pull that C up to a B. it's my goal to graduate with a 3.0 and i've got until december of '07 to do it in. i've got a 2.36 now. i think i can do it.

work has been going well. i scared a little kid last night. i feel kind of bad about that, but they *do* tell you not to bring little children in because it *is* a haunted maze. there were a ton of people last night and tonight should be good as well as long as the rain goes away. it'll probably be muddy though and that sucks. *looks outside* yeah, the ground is VERY wet. ah well. 'tis the life of a haunter.

**EDIT** okay, it wasn't fifty. it was fifty two!

tried calling home today. my mother answered. she is *still* peeved at an argument that we had the day before i left florida. it was a small one that she had blown completely out of proportion. and she won't see any side, or any reason, but her own. i'm not saying i'm a saint. i was trying to explain my side and she just said "nonono, it didn't happen that way, nothing of the sort" etc, etc, etc. and she feels "uncomfortable" talking to me until i apologize. which i won't. mainly because she basically wants me to roll over and be the good submissive child. that's not me. she won't see any reasoning, and refuses to even admit, not that she was wrong, but that maybe she's not *completely* right. no comprimise whatsoever. so now i suppose that i won't be talking to my family. this blows.

*sigh* i know i have it better than a lot in the family department, but i'm peeved.
